Been a little MIA lately, but now you can all see what I’ve been up to! Chris and I launched our homewares and accessories business on Saturday to friends and family, which was a great success. It was so much work for one day, but all the lovely people that made the effort to come meant that it was fun-filled, positive, and inspiring. Such a relief! There is always that anxiety, when you host an event, that nobody will care to come and you’ll be left standing on your lonesome amongst food and drink aplenty. So seriously thank you for saving us the embarrassment!

Would like to especially thank Susan and Clare for lending us their yoga studio for the day (you really must check out this magical yoga studio if you haven’t already), my Dad (who seems to be eternally helping me move things from one place to another), our family for their reassurance and support, and all the friends and family who came to view, shop, and give us their feedback.

To anyone that couldn’t attend or lives afar- the online shop will launch in March.

Love xx

Invincible

After years of killing every herb garden, succulent, and geranium, my Mum came over with a yucca plant and said, “This plant is almost impossible to kill.” Well that was two years ago now, and after battling it out, I am ashamed to say that the yucca plant may not make it. Sorry Mum! Any guest with a basic knowledge of plants, stares in disbelief at it and exclaims, “How the hell did you manage to do that?!”… It is kind of embarrassing.

So you can imagine how enamoured I am with these little treasures from Waterstone Succulents. Hand made from gypsum cement, they recreate the delights of succulent specimens without the burden of actually caring for them. In neon and metallic colours, aren’t they just perfect?

Versace for H&M

Following in the footsteps of Elin Kling and Lanvin, Versace released their much anticipated line for H&M. I was lucky enough (after losing 4 hours of my life to refreshing my browser!) to get two amazing leather jackets and a body-con dress. I’ll post some pics up when they arrive in the post – I am giddy with excitement!
