Liberate Me

I’m not sure why I find handbags so hard, but I do… I only ever seem to like the pricey Celine ‘Leather Shopper’ or the Alexander Wang ‘Prisma’, which, let’s be honest, is not in mine or most people’s realm. Enter emerging designer Danielle Foster, whose entirely handmade bags sit somewhere in the middle. Inspired by the darkness of 40′s erotic bondage and torture, and her equestrian upbringing, they feature metallic bronze leather, brushed pony hair, woven luxe leather and Foster’s signature marble print alongside traditional equestrian hardware elements such as buckles, layers of looped metal and stud detailing. Ahhhmmaazing…

R13

Close to a year ago now, I sat down to browse one of my favourite blogs Style by Kling and almost fell off my chair when I spotted Elin Kling in R13′denim and leather chaps. I instantly had to have them! After scouring the internet for what must have been hours, I was left feeling dejected – they were sold out everywhere!! But guess what? They are available again on shopbop and despite the rather hefty price tag I just ordered them. Looks like I’ll be ebaying some of my less amazing pieces to pay for them… In this case, its a trade-off I’m more than happy with x

Hunky Dory

Currently obsessing over Swedish label Hunky Dory’s Fall/Winter ’12 campaign. Photographed by Marcus Ohlsson and modelled by Anna Selezneva, it brings casual to a new level…

How do they manage it… every single time?!

The Press Club

In celebration of a special milestone, I took the weekend off from work (which is rather hard to do while setting up a business) to indulge a little in the things I love to do.

1. Visit the local market 2. Walk the dog along the river 3. Chill at my favourite cafe spot 4. Munch on scones with jam and cream 5. Press Club for an 8 course degustation extravaganza 6. AllSaints leather pants, Marni jacket, Scanlan&Theodore sweater for a night out 7. Cosy up in my navajo scarf 8. A day at the beach 9. Topshop boots

Back To Basics

With the speed that fashion trends come and go, it can often leave you staring hopelessly at your wardrobe saying the most common statement known to women worldwide – “I have nothing to wear!”… Well, that and “nothing’s wrong, I’m just tired”.

Happens to me regularly, which is rather frightening considering I need a whole room to function as my wardrobe (I’m actually cringing as I write this)… Anywho, I’ve made it my goal of late to get back to basics – think denim, knitwear, loose tees, leather, and that classic blazer. And, I realised the style I admire most on people usually involves these basic ingredients. So, here is some denim inspiration to get you started…

Did I really just suggest wearing the things you already have?! Wow… that’s impressive x
