I stumbled across these unbelievably pretty images today and wanted nothing more than to share them with you… Created by stylist assistant Charlotte Love and photographed by Jonathan Gooch, these images are downright inspiring. Only her first test shoot, I can only imagine how amazing the next one will be x
Office Living
Isn’t it funny that when it comes to our homes we often spend so much time on making our living, bedroom, and kitchen amazing, but when it comes to our work spaces they are often resigned to an uninspiring corner or locked away in a room? After setting up a study room months ago, I have spent the last couple of days reshuffling things again to bring my work space out into my general living space. I prefer the openness and I’ve tried to make it an inspiring place, surrounded by images and small treasures I’ve collected. A brand new iMac kinda helps too!
Don’t you love what these people have done with their work spaces?

Almost Library
I’ve got a bit of a thing for books. Not only do they provide an endless source of inspiration, I also love them stacked around the home. Every so often I go on a book splurge and spend days putting together my ideal book list, buy online, and then await my package of crisp, beautiful books to arrive. While I was in India for 10 weeks, I could not stop buying books – which is rather senseless when traveling. I carted them around, sent some home, and even paid a rather expensive excess baggage fee rather than offload any of them at the airport. I bet you’re thinking I’m crazy… and yes, I would tend to agree. Here are some stacks around my home, which make up a very small amount of books I own. I could almost have a library….
What are you guys reading right now?
Unexpected
I would absolutely never imagine putting apricot and jewel green together in a room, but how well does it work?!

Linen And Flax
I don’t mean to sound like a creep, but I have a major crush on linen. Yup, I just put it out there – I have a crush on inanimate, simple, fabric. In exploring my love of linen, I came across Rough Linen, who produce the most stunning linen bedlinen. And you know what this means, don’t you?! I get to sleep with my crush every single night. Don’t judge me. x

PS I Love You
The single word ‘Ikea’ can make the hairs stand up on anyone’s neck. Instantly, memories flood back of being caught in the Ikea maze, screaming children, fighting couples – and that’s even before you get home. Oh yes, there are a whole set of new challenges once you make it home – usually involving putting the item together wrongly and then taking it apart with the realisation that you may in fact need to follow the instruction manual. Despite the emotional warfare that is the Ikea shop, I can’t help myself going back for more. I don’t know, maybe I even like the struggle.
With the release of the 7th Ikea PS Collection available this year, the endurance of this love/hate relationship certainly seems worth the work, especially for that glorious sofa x
